Who says discipleship has to be complicated?

The evening before the Australia Day long weekend was the scene for the inaugural Murrumbeena Street Party. With invitations extended across facebook, flyers letter box dropped and word of mouth a group of around 100-150 locals gathered at MUC to say hi, share some food, listen to great music, get their faces painted and have some great conversation. What began as a warm evening cooled down when the breeze came up, making it a great evening to sit and talk.

Our aim was to welcome the community, to get to know our neighbours and for them to get to know each other, and that was definitely what happened. Neighbours from across the road, down the street and close by all came, as did workers walking home as they heard the great
music coming from “Mic and the Stands” from High Street UC, Frankston.
