About PPEP

UCA-logo1The church is all about its people – and it is this ‘chief ingredient’ that lies at the very heart of the Presbytery of Port Phillip East (PPEP)

Our congregations, agencies and communities understand this too, even though our presbytery is blessed with many beautiful church buildings and some of the most outstanding natural beauty spots in Victoria.

If you’re visiting this site for the first time, the Presbytery of Port Phillip East is part of the Uniting Church in Australia and one of the Presbyteries of the Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.

Its area reaches from Port Melbourne to Pakenham and all the way south to Portsea, at the tip of the Mornington Peninsula. Our 72 congregations cover every demographic, from newborns to centenarians and we are proud of our cultural mix, which truly represents the multi-cultural flavour of 21st century Australia.

Our partnerships, and social project work, with churches around the world is testament to our global scope and Christian world view.
